Biopsja w diagnostyce chorób jamy ustnej– na podstawie piśmiennictwa

Abstract
Wprowadzenie: czujność onkologiczna obowiązuje każdego praktykującego lekarza stomatologa. W przypadku zmian w obrębie błony śluzowej jamy ustnej taka czujność jest szczególnie istotna. Właściwe postępowanie terapeutyczne jest możliwe po postawieniu prawidłowego rozpoznania. Pomimo tego, że dokładnie przeprowadzony wywiad, wnikliwe badanie palpacyjne oraz ocena wizualna dostarczają wielu cennych informacji, często konieczna jest weryfikacjahistopatologicznaistniejącejzmiany.Cel pracy: na podstawie piśmiennictwa opisano rodzaje biopsji, procedury ich wykonania, wskazania kliniczne do ich wykonywania oraz zasady utrwalania i transportowania materiału biopsyjnego.Podsumowanie: diagnostyka i leczenie zmian błony śluzowej jamy ustnej oparte są głównie na rozpoznaniu histopatologicznym. Stąd lekarz dentysta powinien dostarczyć patologowi bioptat o najwyższej jakości, otrzymany w wyniku prawidłowo wykonanej biopsji.
