Abstract
The peculiarities of the development of the force field around the charge of finite dimensions, which are given a complex form, are considered. The data of computer simulation indicate the superiority of the triangular cross section of a charge over a square, which is manifested in the absence of significant weakening of the force field in the corners of the triangular cross section in contrast to the square. The known phenomenon of mass emission of mass detonation products in the normal to each of its surfaces has practical application in overhead and cumulative charges, and may also contribute to the development of new methods of blasting, taking into account the boundary effects of the explosion of charges of finite size and complex form. Computer simulation of the formation of the energy field around the charges of a triangular and rectangular cross section indicates the increased intensity of the isolines of the density of products of the explosion in the directions normal to the sides of the corresponding sections, the noticeable weakening of the intensity in the angles of the quadrangular section, and less manifestation of such weaknesses within the limits of the triangular cross section of the charge. The pseudo-form of the «isodens» form around the wedge-shaped charge may be an additional tool for controlling the mechanical effect of the explosion. Experimental investigations of the influence of the boundary effects of the explosion of the extended wedge-shaped charge of the discharge allowed to reveal the peculiarities of the formation of the transverse section of the slot and, accordingly, its camouflage and high-level parts, depending on the degree of wedge-shaped intersection of the charge and its orientation relative to the free surface. These features can contribute to the improvement of the relevant technologies associated with the use of contact action charges both in rocky soils and in compressed soils. In the future, it is planned to experiment experimentally the influence of the shape of the triangular cross section and its orientation on the free surface. The obtained data may contribute to the further development of special technologies in the explosive case.
