BRONZE TREASURES FROM COLLECTION OF THE TRANSCARPATHIAN LOCAL MUSEUM

Abstract
Among the archeological finds of Bronze Age of Transcarpathia a ponderable place belongs to bronze treasures. Tools, weapon, decorations, domestic things enter to them. There are 135 bronze treasures (in collection of the Transcarpathian Local Museum – 99), they were found in 63 settlements. In 1850–1900 years 54 treasures were found, in 1900–1945 years – 40, in 1945–2015 – 43. The first collector of bronze treasures was an advocate T. Lehoczky. His collection became the basis to creat in 1929 Mukachevo museum and in 1950 Transcarpathian Local Museum in Uzhhorod. In collection of museum the most of treasures takes place from Uzhhorod and Mukachevo districts, and least from Tyachevo and Chust districts. From Beregovo district there are 13 treasures, Vinogradovo – 9, Irshava – 8, Volovets – 8, Svalyava – 3. An amount of bronze things in treasures is different, on the average from 2 to 5 objects. In the funds of museum most after the amount of objects is treasure from the village of Borzhavske Vinogradovo district. The middle-weight of treasures makes from 1,3 to 3,5 kg. Most after weight there is treasure from a village Lazi Volovets district. The least after weight (37 and 170 g accordingly) are treasures from Uzhhorod and village Antalivzi Uzhhorod district. The most of treasures from one point takes place from Uzhhorod.
