CANDIDA LESIONS OF SKIN AND NAILS AS AN INDICATOR OF HIV INFECTION

Abstract
The example clearly shows various skin lesions of bacterial and fungal etiology in HIV infection. Therefore, if fungal lesions of the skin and nail plates are indicated that may be early clinical manifestations of HIV infection, it is necessary to make blood tests for the presence of antibodies to HIV for verification, and to determine the immune status of the patient in order to establish the clinical stage of the disease and the appointment of antiretroviral treatment.
