CARREIRA EM Y: APLICAÇÃO DA METODOLOGIA EM UM CENTRO TECNOLÓGICO – DESTAQUE AO EIXO TÉCNICO

Abstract
Companies that appreciate innovation systematically invest in physical infrastructure, enhancing high technological performance, and also in intellectual infrastructure, through high know-how professionals. To deal with such a group of professionals, there is a need to recreate people management models and career plans. In this context, this study aims to know how to deal with professionals with highly technical skills and abilities, with no profile to manage and develop people, who are entitled to career advancement. In methodological terms, this study has a descriptive character when reporting the Y-Career Plan and the management of this instrument, through interviews with the Human Resources professionals of a Technological Center, thus assessing nominal qualitative variables. The description of the Y-Career Plan of the company extended the knowledge and led to a greater understanding of the application of this methodology, allowing to conclude that the Y-Career is presented as a way of dealing with the evolution of positions, salaries and benefits for both lines/professional profiles, meeting the interests of professionals either with skills and competencies to manage and develop people or with a technical focus, stimulating their professional growth and development regardless of their vocation.
