Abstract
The article highlights linguocultural peculiarities of contemporary British and Avar ethnicities. The comparative study of nuclear and periphery values contribute to creation and interpretation of universal/ specific features of the given mentalities and their worldviews. Résumé: В статье проводится сравнение лингвокультур современного британского и аварского этносов. В результате сопоставления ядерных и периферийных концептов определяется ценностная картина мира данных универсумов, устанавливается общность и специфичность менталитетов. Ключевые слова: лингвокультура, картина мира, ценность, антиценность.
