Character's psychophysiological reactions as marks of cognitive dissonance in modern French detective novels.

Abstract

This paper outlines the means of expression of cognitive dissonance by psychophysiological reactions of characters in modern French detective novels. The peculiarities of their structure and usage are singled out. The prospects of further linguistic researches are determined.
