CLASSIFICATION METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO ASSESSING THE NATURE RESERVE FUND

Abstract

Introduction. Trends of leading countries in transition to a new economy cause the need for economic evaluation of natural resources based on knowledge. The large number of cost factors and methods of their calculation was made in the process of evaluation work. Despite the variety of methods used and the wide coverage of natural resources, most of the performance indicators are prescriptive. Valuation techniques used for cost parameters of various natural resources are virtually connected to each other, have a common methodological basis and are purely sectoral nature. It is therefore important study of methodological approaches to valuation of natural reserve fund. Methods. The fundamental provisions of modern economic science and the scientific works of scholars are the theoretical and methodological basis of the study. The following methods are used in the study: the history was used for study the emergence and development of approaches to the economic evaluation of natural reserve fund; the comparative analysis is used for compare the main approaches to the economic evaluation of natural reserve fund; the analysis is used for determine the main advantages and disadvantages of these approaches to the economic evaluation of natural reserve fund; the abstract and logical method is used for theoretical generalization of the results and the formation of conclusions and recommendations. Results. The existing methodological approaches to assessing the nature reserve fund are analyzed. The emphasis on the problematic aspects of existing methods to assess the nature reserve fund as such is not enough to reflect their current value and ecological and economic value. Certain components of the reserve funds can be assessed only after using these methods. The need to consider the value of natural reserve fund because of their function is emphasized. A use for the evaluation of the nature reserve fund concept of total economic value is proposed. Discussion. The obtained results can be used in the economic evaluation of natural reserve fund.
