Clinical application of resilient materials for relining of dentures

Abstract
The following resilient materials, GC Reline Extra Soft and GC Tissue Conditioner, were tested for the relining of dentures, and their therapeutic efficacy in prosthetic rehabilitation of patients with removable dentures was evaluated. Using the above-mentioned materials, 31 relinings of dentures, obturators and surgical plates were made. Observations were carried out for 6 months. Throughout the period of observation, GC Reline Extra Soft retained, or lost, but only to a small extent, its elastic properties, similarly the weight of GC Tissue Conditioner retained its therapeutic properties for a period of four weeks of use.
