Clusters as a form of cooperation in tourism activities

Abstract
The article presents the essence of tourism clusters in Poland and around the world. The author presents his own idea of the clusters and their definition. According to a study clusters are designed to integrate actors in a specific area in the related sectors. They can also play a significant role in community devel-opment and transformation of the village in the tourist areas, and to improve their competitiveness in the tourism market.
