Abstract
The paper analyzes the approaches to legal thinking that have emerged in legal science. The author reveals the doctrinal characteristic of the effectiveness and efficiency of law through the prism of the positions of the prevailing types of legal thinking. The cognitive advantages of modern types of legal thinking for the further study of the theoretical and legal aspects of the effectiveness and efficiency of law are determined.
