COMMENT LE PRINTEMPS PEUT-IL ÊTRE ARABE ? DÉSIGNATIONS ET REPRÉSENTATIONS DU PRINTEMPS DE LA SAISON À LA REVOLUTION

Abstract
« Le printemps arabe », cette expression qui désigne depuis 2011 la série de révolutions des peuples arabes, constitue un moment de rupture avec le sens habituel du terme printemps. Signifiant désormais révolution, le terme acquiert une dimension désignative renvoyant à une conjoncture sociopolitique particulière et relative à des événements particuliers. Ainsi, l’objectif du présent article serait donc de mettre en relief les relations linguistiques, historiques et discursives de ce rapport entre le terme printemps et le terme révolution à travers l’analyse de la dimension événementielle du nouveau sens du terme printemps dans sa relation avec les nouvelles représentations sociopolitiques auxquelles il renvoie.
