Comparative Study of Thin and Thick Film Technology for Organic Light Emitting Structures Preparation
Journal Title: International Journal of Advances in Engineering, Science and Technology - Year 2011, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper two types of organic light emitting devices are prepared by use of thin film and thick film technology. For thin organic film deposition is used spin coating and for thick organic layer deposition is applied method screen printing. Morphology of the layers deposited by both techniques is compared and its influence of the device’s performance is commented. Impedance spectroscopy and traps energy measurements are applied for electrical characterization of the samples. Important electrical parameters like boundary operational frequencies, activation energy of the traps, capacitance, contact and bulk resistances are calculated and compared for both types of devices.
