Abstract
Th e purpose of this paper is to analyze the role of international communication in the network society. Aft er highlighting the importance of the development on technological resources of communication for globalization practices, the article presents a historical research of studies and theories about international fl ow of information and contemporary tendencies centralized mainly in cultural studies.
