Considerations for the academic support of students in the field of higher education

Abstract
At any level of the educational process, it is essential that a series of strategies be followed that contribute to the achievement of objectives effectively and efficiently. Among these strategies is academic support, carried out in different ways and involving different resources in order to make a significant change in learning. This article takes into account studies posted on the Web referring to academic support focused on the field of Higher Education, from which a selection and decantation is made to obtain key quotes that support the construct itself. From there it is concluded that in the transition from the middle level to the higher level there are some elements that often interfere with this normal process, which makes academic support necessaryto overcome these difficulties
