CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING THE USE OF CHUCK COLLETS IN MECHANICAL SYSTEMS
Journal Title: TEHNOMUS - Year 2011, Vol 18, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper the authors aim to present the theoretical study of of constructions such as clenching mechanisms with chuck collets. For this to has been modernized the test stand clenching mechanisms with chuck collets existing in the laboratory. Also in the paper were aimed experimental tests of clenching characteristics: clenching stress, dependence of clenching stress upon the main influencing factors

STATIC DEFORMATION OF A WORKPIECE FIXED IN UNIVERSAL CHUCK AND LIFE CENTRE
The rigidity could be defined as the capacity of a system or subsystem to oppose to the elastic deformation generated by the action of external forces. In this paper, the authors highlight some possibilities to evaluate...
MATHEMATICAL MODELS FOR SMOOTHING PROCESS BY MECHANICAL SHOCKS OF CYLINDRICAL SURFACES
Smoothing by mechanical shocks is a processing method based on the impact effect of the balls with the work piece material. Specific phenomena such processing methods result in changes of mechanical properties of the sur...
EXPERIMENTAL SET-UP FOR THE STUDY OF SPEED EFFECT ON THE OCCURENCE OF SCUFFING
The present paper illustrates the construction and operation principles for an experimental set-up for the investigation of scuffing. Experimental results are presented with the highlight of various agents that can lead...
ASPECTS REGARDING THE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN CLASSICAL ENGINEERING AND VIRTUAL ENGINEERING
Virtual reality is considered one of the fundamental directions, with computers and robotics, to reconfigure the global society in this century and even further, as one solution to overcome the current structural crisis,...
MATHEMATIC MODEL FOR OPTIMIZATION OF ZINC-NICKEL ALLOY CO-DEPOSITION PROCESS
Any optimization method implies a mathematical model which should resolve the quantitative requires of the problems. This model is based on the substrate effect and has to calculate the partial current densities and so h...
