Abstract
Authors examine maintenance and value of terms, used in a home legislation for regulations of activity of organs of police, and accordances to positions of Constitution of Ukraine and tasks of modern criminally legal politics. The operating Law of Ukraine «About a national police» and decision of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine provisions are analysed «Statutes about a national police», accepted in 2015. Specified authors on that in Law in force of Ukraine «About a national police» an aim and tasks of modern police are substantially narrowed and distorted, unlike those, that indicated in Statute about a national police and in constitution of country, they fall short of to modern requirements of law-enforcement practice and good sense.
