CONSTRUCTIVISM INTERPRETATION OF THE SOVEREIGNTY IN THE THEORY OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

Abstract
The article explores the concept of sovereignty and state in one of the directions of the postpositivist tradition - constructivism. The constructivist understanding of the state sovereignty is defined. Sovereignty is a variable social regime, a social structure whose content varies simultaneously with the evolution of the society. It is not only a property of states, but also an institution of the international community created by man, constitutes a certain form of state and public. Its limitations are established in the current conditions of the international political development as a result of non-power mechanisms of the influence of states on each other's policies. New ways of its functioning and ways of realization are offered.
