CONTEMPORARY ASPECTS OF THE PATHOGENESIS OF SYSTEMIC NECROTIZING VASCULITIS

Abstract

This article presents the recent published data about the pathogenesis of systemic necrotizing vasculitis. It is demonstrated a pathogenetic role of anti- neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies, antibodies to lysosome- associated membrane protein 2, endothelial dysfunction and its markers, T- and B-lymphocytes in the development of this disease. These features of the pathogenesis have to beat the basis for development of the new effective treatment options for patients with systemic necrotizing vasculitis.
