CORRELATION BETWEEN TRADITIONAL AND SOME OF THE RECENT TRENDS OF TEACHING PHYSICS AT THE PRESENT STAGE

Abstract
The prospects and appropriateness of traditional techniques and trends of teaching physics were analyzed. The prospects of development of physics teaching methods according to modern educational needs and capabilities of latest information technologies were considered. It was shown that traditional physics teaching methods can and should be combined with the use of modern information technology. The issues and trends of teaching physics were outlined, for the embodiment of which traditional methods would be preferable and the role of computer simulation of physical processes in teaching physics was examined. It was concluded that any methods of teaching physics should primarily be aimed at creating understanding of the physical content of the processes being learned. It was noted that from the perspective of prospects for the development of physics teaching trends, more attention should be focused on the study of physical research methods in all aspects, and the development of system knowledge formation methods.
