Creativity in scientific research

Journal Title: Prohominum - Year 2024, Vol 6, Issue 1

Abstract

This work presents the results of a bibliographic review of studies carried out in the last five years on creativity in research and its influence on human development, recognizing research as a creative activity. In addition, the intelligence of creativity is addressed as the development of human potentialities and techniques of intellectual human work, emphasizing the paradigms and paradoxes that delay the development of organizations. It is an important issue since creativity and innovation in the globalized world require avant-garde professionals, responsible for the transformation of society, an action that demands the assimilation of these competencies in culture, in the educational context and in research; stimulating the change of paradigms to give way to models focused on problem solving. Creative thinking is used by the researcher when the solution methods available to him or her are insufficient and it is necessary to look for new ones, hence productive thinking would be impossible without creativity
