DEMOGRAPHIC “GAP” AS THE FORMATIONAL FACTOR OF THE UKRAINIAN WORKFORCE MARKET

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem, which is almost the least investigated in the national economic science: the impact of demographic «gap» on the prospects of accumulation and effectiveness of the formation of the Ukrainian labor market. By comparing statistical data, significant scales of structural deformations were identified: negative deviations in age pyramids, associated with catastrophic population losses and corresponding demographic waves. The conceptual apparatus and directions of formation of demographic «gap» are developed. The causes of negative and positive deformations in Ukraine as a whole are analyzed. The objective necessity of forming a new factor of the labor market is substantiated. It is concluded that the formation of the Ukrainian labor market means a radical reorganization of all segments of the employment institute. Proposals on ways to overcome crisis demographic phenomena are formulated.
