DETERMINATION OF CHANGES OF SOUTH BALTIC SPITS AND CLIFFS
Journal Title: Biuletyn Instytutu Morskiego - Year 1994, Vol 21, Issue 1
Abstract
Observations and cartometric measurements along the South Baltic Coast on spit forms and cliff coast sections indicated an increase of erosion processes . Basing on long and short term trends, the prediction of the coastal changes on selected stretches of spits and cliffs due to sea level rise was attempted.

TRANSPORT ASPECTS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PORT OF GDANSK
Due to the pro-ecological character of sea transport, shipping lines connecting the Port of Gdansk with its fore-field always appear as elements facilitating sustainable development of the seaport, seen as an integration...
DETECTION AND QUANTIFICATION OF SELF- SIMILARITY IN DATA TRAFFIC FOR PREDICTION OF PERFORMANCE OF MARINE DATA FILE TRANSFER
The time-sensitivity of large marine data files over a communication network necessitates accurate simulative prediction of the file transfer performance. Careful data traffic modelling is required to fit the actual traf...
Numerical modelling assumptions for deposition and spread of dumped material
Dredging is a necessary part of harbour operations, associated with the maintenance of the required navigable depths of approach channels and harbour basins. The fine dredged material obtained particularly from harbour b...
