Determination of electricity consumption for carrying out acceptance tests of traction electrical machines

Abstract

Purpose. The aim of the study is to choose the method of rationing of electricity consumption for carrying out acceptance tests of electric machines for traction and motor wagon rolling stock of trunk and industrial vehicles. The technique. The methodological basis of this study is the general theoretical principles and principles of the systems approach of theoretical electrical en-gineering and the theory of electrical machines. The study uses known methods for analyzing electromagnetic and electromechanical processes in electrical machines. Results. The proposed method for determining the power consumption for the main points of the acceptance testing program of electric machines for traction and motor wagon rolling stock of trunk and industrial vehicles. Considered six basic modes of testing electric cars. Scientific novelty. The energy pro-cesses in the test systems of the load of electrical machines are considered. Analytical expressions are obtained for determining the power consumption for the six main load modes of electric machines when tested. Practical significance. Using the results of these theoretical studies will allow the rationing of electricity consumption for carrying out acceptance tests of traction electric machines. The implementation of the proposed method will allow optimizing the load conditions of traction electric machines during their testing.
