Development of criteria and assessment apparatus of graphic competence formation of future bachelors in computer sciences

Abstract
The article is devoted to one of the topical problems of modern psychological and pedagogical researches in the field of diagnostics of educational results of students. On the basis of theoretical analysis of scientific literature and the developed experience of evaluating students’ competencies, the approach to the evaluation and diagnostics of the level of formation of graphic competence of future bachelors from computer sciences in the process of their professional training in a higher education institution is proposed, based on determining the level of formation of structural components of graphic competence. On the basis of the analysis of scientific research on the formation of graphic competence of specialists from different fields, four criteria for the graphic competence of future bachelors in computer sciences were considered and theoretically substantiated, namely cognitive-emotional, personal-creative, motivational-activity and analytical-reflexive. The described criteria of graphic competence cover the whole spectrum of indicators that characterize emotional, sensory, cognitive, value, creative and motivational components. The indicators of display of the indicated graphic competence criteria are described. In accordance with the severity of the indicators of the formation of the criteria of graphic competence, four levels are identified, namely critical (intuitive), admissible (reproductive), sufficient (productive) and high (creative) levels. The selected criteria and levels of graphical competence formation allow to choose the appropriate estimating tools, as well as to track the dynamics of mastering the components of graphic competence in the process of professional training of future bachelors from computer sciences for qualitative application of the acquired knowledge in professional activity, manifested in the ability to see problems, to put forward ideas related to their solution, have the ability and willingness to mobilize a set of knowledge, skills, skills and generalized methods of rational actions necessary for the implementation of educational and professional activities that contribute to the personal development of students in a holistic educational process of the higher education institution.
