Abstract
The article deals with the problems of development of terminology connected with emergency situations in the modern Azerbaijani language. In each language, including in the Azerbaijani language, the development of the terminological base associated with emergencies occurs mainly in two ways. One way is the use of words in the vocabulary; the other is the borrowing of international scientific terms.
