DIAGNOSTICS OF THE FUTURE SOCIAL PEDAGOGUES’ ATTITUDE TO THEIR OWN HEALTH

Abstract
The topicality of the problem regarding health conservation and formation of the future social pedagogues’ health conservation competence in the process of their professional training has been designated based on the analysis of pedagogical, psychological and social research. There have been analyzed the corresponding legislative acts of Ukraine in order to define the governmental strategy concerning the development tendencies of competent specialists’ training in the sphere of Social Pedagogy. The indicators of the future social pedagogues’ attitude to their own health have been diagnosed by means of the questionnaire survey method; the levels of its formation have been defined. 50 students-respondents majoring in Social Pedagogy participated in the designated research. The majority of the future social pedagogues showed a medium level of their attitude to health having these indicators: doing physical exercises (medium level – 40%, low level – 32%), using natural factors of recovery (medium level – 38%, low level – 32%), improving emotional and psychological state (medium level – 50%, low level – 26%), self-conntrol (medium level – 28%, low level – 36%). Only two indicators demonstrated a sufficiant and high levels: sanitary conditions (high level – 40%, sufficient level – 44%), regime and food culture (high level – 32%, sufficient level – 44%). These outcomes helped us to make conclusions regarding the reasons of the low attitude to health and further strategies of its improvement. We assume that the designated results were stipulated by the lack of practical classes aimed at purposeful future social pedagogues’ training which could provide the activity facilitating health reservation, which explained their attitude to health and could limit their further formation of health reservation competence in the process of their professional training. The represented diagnostics of the indicators specifying the future social pedagogues' attitude to health enabled us to identify the main vectors of further research regarding the issues of organization of students’ health-targeted self-guided work as well as the formation of the health reservation competence, to be more precise: to define a system of pedagogical assessment of this process; to involve students into self-guided activities on purposeful and constructive bases; to represent a series of means as the tools aimed at planning and controlling students’ self-guided activity, which could enable a student to set tasks according to the designated goal, to choose necessary means and ways of actions, to control the obtained outcomes as well as to correct them, if necessary.
