Digital Transformation in Public Audit: The Digital Twin Method

Abstract
With the increase in digitalization access to a large amount of information and data on behalf of public control has resulted in traditional control becoming insufficient over time. This has created motivation for the development of faster, reliable, controllable and continuous control. The purpose of this study is to comparatively analyse the traditional and modern auditing framework. Moreover, the digital twin control applications is proposed as a method that can be integrated into modern auditing.
