DIRECTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF ACTIVITIES OF NATIONAL POLICE OF UKRAINE IN PUBLIC SECURITY SYSTEM

Abstract
The article is devoted to the definition of the place and role of the National Police of Ukraine in the system of public safety. The directions of legal regulation of public safety in Ukraine are outlined. It has been established that in the process of securing public security, a key role among a number of actors is played by the National Police, in particular the Patrol Police, Special Police and Preventive Activities. The place of the National Police of Ukraine in the system of public safety is determined. It is argued that the effectiveness of police activity as a subject of public safety is significantly dependent on the quality of its organizational structure.
