DIRECTIONS OF IMPROVING THE MANAGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL STRUCTURE

Abstract
Purpose. The purpose of the article is to formation of the correlation-regression mechanism for managing the structure of the intellectual capital of an industrial enterprise. Methods of research. During the research the following methods were used: dialectical and abstract-logical - in assessing the structure of the intellectual capital of industrial enterprises; cognition of the essence, features of use - in determining what effect the components of intellectual capital make on the efficiency of the enterprise; bibliographic - in the study and development of scientific sources dedicated, the level of development of intellectual capital; systemic generalization, comparison - in determining the direction and complexity of the intellectual capital structure components; analytical - in the analysis of performance indicators of the enterprise; correlation-regression analysis - a model of polynomial regression. Findings. The model of polynomial regression, which shows a high interrelation of the structural elements of intellectual capital and the efficiency of the enterprise has been constructed. It is determined that among the indicators of enterprise efficiency, it is the profitability of gross output that best reflects the influence of intellectual capital subsystems on the efficiency of an enterprise. It is established that among the significant factors, the objects of intellectual property have the greatest influence on the efficiency of the enterprise’s activity. The influence of three intellectual capital components (electronic networks and information subsystems, organizational and managerial subsystems, human intellectual capital) in the constructed model of polynomial regression was recognized as insignificant, which indicates an extremely low level of development of these intellectual capital subsystems at domestic machine-building enterprises. The insufficient level of intellectual capital components development at the enterprises and the need for their development has been confirmed. Originality. Directions and tightness of the influence of intellectual capital structure components (intellectual property objects, electronic networks and information systems, organizational and managerial subsystems, human, consumer and marketing intellectual capital) on the performance indicators of the enterprise have been revealed. Practical value. The obtained results of the research contribute to the effective management of the intellectual capital structure of an industrial enterprise.
