Dobro wspólne, solidaryzm i subsydiarność w teorii i lokalnej praktyce Kościół katolicki wobec kryzysu państwa polskiego w okresie II wojny światowej na przykładzie Kolbuszowej

Journal Title: Rocznik Kolbuszowski - Year 2018, Vol 18, Issue 18

Abstract

The social teaching of the Catholic Church, promoting common good, solidarity and subsidization, was practically manifested during World War II when the Catholic Church cooperated with the authorities of the Second Republic of Poland affected by the institutional crisis. According to the author, this anti-crisis and stabilizing support of the Church was most desirable for the state with limited sovereignty. The Polish clergy acting in the substitute administration contributed to the continuity of the state and to the formation of the desirable behaviour of the Poles on whom totalitarian ideologies and the occupation administration exerted influence. The tasks which were performed pro public bono by committed priests were part of political conception, which is worth using in the future after adapting accordingly.
