ECONOMIC AND THEORETICAL BASIS OF JUSTIFICATION OF SOCIAL CAPITAL ESSENCE

Abstract
This article examined the phenomenon of social capital in economic terms as being in the future able to replace less effective social relations. The number of economic theories and concepts that have become theoretical and methodological basis study the nature, place and role of social capital in economic relations and economic development were examined. This are the theories of human capital, social space systems; the concept of social institutionalism, statism, knowledge economy, corporate social responsibility, corporate social integrity, corporate selfishness, social partnership "rational egoism", stakeholders, corporate citizenship, corporate altruism. At the nano-, micro-, meso-, macro- and mega- levels the components of social capital, especially its formation, accumulation and use are defined. Characteristics of Ukrainian level of trust in public institutions are shown.
