Journal Title: Науковий вісник Південноукраїнського національного педагогічного університету імені К. Д. Ушинського - Year 2016, Vol 110, Issue 3
Abstract
There are revealed some theoretical and methodological fundamentals of the plein-air practice which presupposes a compositional plot search based on the ability to analyze and synthesize as well as to compare proportion, construction / design, tone and colour relations. The plein-air practice, except solving particular tasks, involves students into the environment of compositional plot search based on the ability to analyze and synthesize as well as to compare proportion, construction / design, tone and colour relations. These are the original solutions of space and form, colour in particular, which enable the achievement of students’ integrative vision of plein-air composition within the plein-air practice. Furthermore, stu-dents get involved into a creative creativity based on the ability to analyze and synthesize while comparing propor-tion, construction / design, tone and colour relations in nature. It is marked that in the process of the plein-air prac-tice there are formed these components of person’s artistic culture: competence, cognition, creativity. It is stated that full-scale setting, or plein-air, is the main form of the interrelation of traditional and modern teaching methods of basic special disciplines. There are described the evaluation criteria of basic skills formation, those ones of space and form constituting a plein-air plot in particular, which enabled the implementation of the principle of the interrelation of traditional and modern teaching methods into the plein-air practice based on: the combination of the knowledge of composition theory and practical implementation of author’s compositional idea; the use of the laws of perspective / view alongside with the choice of the most productive systems of perspective for strengthening the outset of imagery; representation / picturing of some objects, different in form and directed to render spatial correlation (including the fulfillment of the tasks aimed at the development of vision); the use of traditional art technologies of the past in the practical artistic activity; the skill to create colour integrity of the picture plane and volume-spatial composition while working both from life and vision; designation of the plastic constructive basis of a full-scale outsetting and its reflection in work; interest in the search and use of new artistic opportunities of traditional academic pictorial techniques; creative comprehension and processing of the artistic heritage; understanding of the peculiarities of academic and creative tasks solving while working on composition. It is substantiated that these are the original solutions of space, form and colour that enable achievement of cer-tain integrity in plein-air composition, which is needed for the education of students’ integrative vision. The teaching methods of plein-air painting revealed within the pedagogical experience by masters of art must be assimilated with the modern high school.
