Education during Peronist Periods. The National Education Council and orientations pedagogic didactics destined for the teachers (1948 – 1949)

Abstract
In Argentina, the role of teachers has been of great importance since the beginning of the Education System. During the Peronist years (1946 – 1955), decisions regarding how to approach teachers became complex due to the different pedagogial standpoints adopted by the staff of government officials in the area of Education. This article’s objective is to inquire the topics prevailing in the pedagogical-didactic thought of the National Council of Education during 1948 and 1949, period that preceded the creaton of the Ministry of Education. Besides, it analyses the perspective adopted by two national entities, the monthly publication “Guión, ductor itineris” and the Secretary of Didactics.
