Abstract
Child Music Education in the Cognitive Perspective The article discusses the role of music education in human life. The author describes important strategies of children music education, as well as methods of teaching and the way how children learn music. The article analyses the impact of music on cognitive processes in children in pre- and school age. It is believed that the most important task of music education of preschool children is shaping perceptions of music and a child at this stage learns through feeling. This is an introduction to advanced ways of learning music in early primary school, in which children begin to operate the language of musical concepts and start not only feeling, but also understanding the music. A teacher plays a significant role in this process as a facilitator because of his musical education and recognition music education tradition as well as modern trends in music education of children
