Abstract
The article deals with the stages of the formation and development of the ecosystem approach to the use of natural resources as the basis of sustainable development in international acts, the scientific-theoretical approaches to understanding the essence and content of the ecosystem approach to the use of natural resources are analyzed, international and domestic normative-legal acts from a certain perspective are analyzed.
