Electric Vehicle Test System of Indoor Bench Test Platform

Abstract

The response capacity and fast switching ability of the traditional dynamometer platform were poor, which was difficult to directly apply to the new electric vehicle power system testing. Therefore, the indoor bench Labview test platform based on the electric power dynamometer was designed for electric vehicle test system.Firstly, the load simulation principle and dynamic switching proportion integration differentiation ( PID) control strategy based on nine point control of the test platform were analyzed, and the hardware platform of the test system was constructed. Then the advanced vehicle simulator ( ADVISOR) was used for model and simulation to acquire the test data. Finally, the power system was tested on the test platform to complete the electric vehicle dynamic test.The results show that the power dynamometer realizes the fast and stable switching of the two quadrants of the motor. The bench system simulates the electric vehicle running condition and completes the performance test of the power system.
