Empréstimos linguísticos no vocabulário do futebol

Abstract
Through a systematic investigation done in newspaper from Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, a methodological research was performed about the constant lexical referring to some language terms taken from foreign countries and spread from the contemporary press media, when subjects related to soccer are brought up. An effort was made in order to analyze the ways and the lexical processes that determine the integration of the neologism used in the soccer particular language to the global lexical that the language is for itself.
