ENHANCING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL TERRITORIES

Abstract
In the article the research has been carried out and formed the classification of factors which positively and negatively affecting on the formation of competitiveness s of agricultural enterprises, it has been formed the possibility of economic content and competitiveness and the main factors of influence has been established. It has been determined the ways of improving the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises, such as increasing the efficiency of the existing potential of agricultural enterprises, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the personnel of agricultural enterprises, technical updating of material base of agricultural producers, implementation of the effective marketing strategy.It is proved that organic production is one of the areas which will help to improve the competitiveness of enterprises. The factors that negatively influence the production of organic products were identified: the imperfection of the legislative and regulatory framework which clearly defines the state policy in the field of organic production, created conditions for legislative recognition and protection of organic products; lack of standards and national certification system; the prevalence of exports to the internal market of certified organic products; higher price of domestic products in comparison with import; production of organic products by large agricultural enterprises; lack of livestock production according to organic standards; the absence of processing enterprises for organic products and organic food production and their investment content; the initial stage of development of wholesale and retail trade of organic products. It has been established that increasing of the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises has a positive effect on sustainable rural development.It has been determined that in order to stabilize the economy and sustainable development, it is necessary to solve the problem of developing mechanisms of state agricultural policy in order to increase the competitiveness of agrarian enterprises and to use the existing potential of the agrarian sector of the economy. It makes a task of institutional development, which primarily involves the formation of mechanisms of interaction between the state, rural society, society and business, the formation of such a model of agrarian production, which would contribute to the preservation of rural areas and increase the efficiency of the functioning of agrarian enterprises.It has been established that increasing of the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises has a positive effect on sustainable rural development.It has been determined that in order to stabilize the economy and sustainable development, it is necessary to solve the problem of developing mechanisms of state agricultural policy in order to increase the competitiveness of agrarian enterprises and to use the existing potential of the agrarian sector of the economy.
