ENVIRONMENTAL AND SANITARY-HYGIENIC REQUIREMENTS FOR DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS OF OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION COMPLEX

Abstract

Purpose. To observe the possibility of cleaning domestic wastewater at the oil and gas production complex. Underground wastewater filtration is proposed to reduce the negative impact on the natural environment. Methodology. The condition of existing sewage treatment plants of the oil and gas complex in the Kharkov region (Ukraine) has been analysed. These qualitative and quantity methodology included firstly, observation review of sewage treatment facilities and secondly, work equipment's surveys. The factual basis of the study is the initial data of statistical monitoring of the state of sewage treatment facilities. Results. The paper proposes using the self-cleaning ability of the soil during the reconstruction of the sewage treatment plants. Also presents proposals for sewage treatment plants re-equipment was used. Originality. The article employs a new approach to wastewater’s underground filtration to increase the efficiency of complete biological treatment and intensification of sewage treatment facilities Practical value. Examples of calculations and drawings of combined fields of underground filtration are given. The filter wells are calculated in addition and put on the drawings. The computations were carried out taking into account ecological and sanitary-hygienic requirements to sewage treatment plants. Practical recommendations are developed directly for sewage treatment facilities of the oil and gas complex of Kharkov region (Ukraine). Productivity of the first and second stage of construction is 20 m3 / day, third stage  10 m3 / day. Calculated rectangular card sizes of the combined field of underground filtration are estimated (15 m Ч 21 m). Also the number of filter wells (15 pcs) is calculated. The results of investigation have significant practical importance for improving the quality of water bodies.
