Abstract
The article offering a glimpse into the peculiarities of the political and legal nature of the European Union in the context of its further development and functioning. The analysis of the scenarios of the EU future and the conclusions drawn in this regard have not only theoretical but also practical value for choosing the optimal vector for further development.
