Evaluation of Effects on Participants of a Nature Training Projects

Abstract
IDE-4, Nature Training Projects (URL-1), were realized in NPA’s in Isparta in one-week periods between the months June-October of 2011 with 81 participants most of them teachers. In this study it was aimed to determine main factors had lead those teachers to participate in and changes arised at the end of the training. Interviews, on the first and the last day of the courses as well as a follow up one after three years were conducted with the participants by using the mixed methods. The predominant factor concerning the decisions for participant participating in the traininig were found to learn more about Nature and sharing it with their students. They addressed that courses had supplied great facilities for training their studens and considerable contribution in their career.
