ФАКТОРИ ПІДВИЩЕННЯ КОНКУРЕНТОСПРОМОЖНОСТІ АГРОПРОМИСЛОВИХ ПІДПРИЄМСТВ РЕГІОНУ

Abstract

Fedorchuk A.M., Protosvitska O.I. Factors increasing the competitiveness of agro-industrial enterprises in the region. The article analyzes the essence of the concept of "competitiveness of an agro-industrial enterprise", highlights the main factors influencing the regional competitiveness of an enterprise, as well as a country, region, or industry. It is proposed to consider the process of improving the competitiveness of agro-industrial enterprises in the form of sequential implementation of several stages. Competition is viewed as a complex category reflecting the relations between business entities that arise in the market under conditions of dynamic economic development and manifest themselves in the struggle for better performance, which results in the formation of various types of market structures and the needs of both individual consumers and society as a whole. In turn, the competitiveness of agro-industrial enterprises means their ability in the current period and long-term to provide a higher production efficiency and sales of their products compared to competitors. Existing views are summarized and the own vision of the essence of “competition” and “competitiveness of agricultural enterprises” categories are disclosed. The factors, forming the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises, are systematized. At the same time, two main groups of them were singled out - environmental factors (climatic, socio-demographic, political-legal, economic) and internal environmental factors (organizational-economic, technical-technological, socio-economic). It is noted that the competitive advantages of agricultural enterprises enhances the competitiveness of the agro-industrial sector, and therefore contributes to solving the problems regarding food security. The competitiveness of the agro-industrial sector is a multi-faceted concept that characterizes its ability to compete on both the domestic and foreign markets. Found that modeling and determining the level of competitiveness of products is a prerequisite for its sale in the relevant market. The methodical approaches to assessing the level of competitiveness of agricultural enterprises are indicated. The prospects for improving the competitiveness of agro-industrial enterprises are identified, taking into account regional specifics, by strengthening state support of business entities in modern business conditions, enhancing their activities.
