FEATURES OF ASSESSMENT ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC POTENTIAL FOR OIL AND GAS ENTERPRISES

Abstract
Actuality matters today are to preserve the environment while meeting society's needs in energy resources. A partial solution to this problem is possible by evaluating environmental and economic potential of oil and gas companies. To achieve this goal the theoretical and applied semantic methods. The article refined the definition of ecological and economic potential oil and gas company - a combination of natural, technical, technological, financial, information and intellectual resources and advanced management technology, tools, methods and instruments for their implementation that are used in the process of prospecting, exploration and development of oil and gas fields for economic growth, competitiveness and socio-economic development of oil and gas company, along with a reduction in its destructive effects on the environment. Characterized preparatory, basic and final stages of evaluating environmental and economic potential of oil and gas companies. These processes inherent in each stage of evaluation. It is determined that the main problems facing the process of evaluation are: assessment of methodological approaches discrepancy ecological and economic potential of current economic conditions and existing statistical base; a significant number of social, environmental information and other indicators are difficult to quantify. The basic principle of evaluation of the interaction in the system "economy - society - environment." A qualitative and quantitative approach for evaluation of the ecological and economic potential of oil and gas companies. A qualitative approach involves isolating performance availability and performance increase. The quantitative approach shares indicators on the economic and environmental units. This system of indicators characterizing the relationship of environmental and economic processes in the oil and gas companies.
