FEATURES OF CREATION AND FUNCTIONING OF INFORMATION SYSTEM IN THE MEDICAL SPHERE

Abstract
Purpose. To research medical organization simulation, the creation of an information and functional model of the medical information system at the design and development stage, development of concepts and technical issues in the creation of software, support for the implementation process, collection of information for further statistical research. Originality. The actual problem of improving the organization of the management process in medical institutions of the country is considered. The implementation of the documentation automation has been carried out in the Dnipro Region-al Hospital. Functional requirements were established and the general architecture of the information system was developed to facilitate the stages of implementing the life cycle of medical workflow. The software was developed and implemented. It provides an opportunity to increase the efficiency of working with medical documentation in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The software consists of three components: PatientCard is a patient card, AssignmentList is a destination sheet and Registry is an admission department, which provides the functional requirements for creating a single information space. The basic functions of the developed system are the account of patients, doctors, counting and storage of quantitative and qualitative characteristics of patients and local mechanisms of communication between users. Methodology. As the main methods of research methods of system analysis, set theory and object-oriented programming (encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism) have been used. Findings. A medical information system has been developed and conditions for conducting statistical studies on patient data have been created. Practical value. The information system is used in the Dnieper Regional Hospital. Conclusions. The developed information system ensures the improvement of the efficiency of the management process in hospital. The system of information collection is effective and convenient for fast service of patients of medical institutions. This software successfully operates in the Dnipro Regional Hospital.
