FEATURES OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN COUNTRIES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION

Abstract
The article examines organizational characteristics of higher education in the European countries in the context of the Bologna reforms. Consequences of the modernization of the national education systems are found. From an economic point of view, higher education is considering as a real product of industry, the foundation of economic progress, as a producer of intellectual and financial resources. Identified the possibilities that were given by European integration process to higher education of Ukraine. Indicated on the direct relationship between the level of public education, the perfection of the democracy and its prosperity.
