FEATURES OF “MIND MAP” INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY USING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FOREIGN COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF THE FUTURE FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHERS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the introduction of interactive teaching with the purpose of activating the process of the student communicative competence formation in the universities. The interactive «mind map» method is analysed from the point of view of expediency and efficiency of its use for the purpose of development of reproductive types of foreign language activity. The capability of new powerful multimedia authoring tools have enabled more widespread development of learning environments that facilitate the exploration and solution to complex and real- istic problems. In addition, the consumption of mental abilities is another significant problem in learning. One method to this problem is the use of mind maps. Mind mapping is a visual form of note taking that offers an overview of a topic and its complex information, allowing students to comprehend, create new ideas and build connections. In other words, mind maps are just a way to organize ourselves and make our life easier. Active learning is what makes a person to stand out and be successful, and creating mind maps is just an easier way to achieve this kind of learning. Through the use of colors, images and words, mind mapping encourages students to begin with a central idea and expand outward to more in-depth sub-topics.The attempts to use «mind map» technology in the field of foreign-language teaching proved effectiveness for the forming of such reproductive kinds of foreign activities as writing and speaking.
