FEATURES OF QUANTITATIVE RESTRICTIONS USAGE FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE REGULATION UNDER MODERN CONDITIONS

Abstract
The paper concerns the problem of usage of traditional protectionist tools, which are quantitative barriers, under modern conditions of trade liberalization. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of peculiarities of quantitative barriers application on based on foreign countries’ experience is provided. In the frame of the research, the paper emphasizes the trends of quantitative protectionist instruments usage. The authors dwell upon the strengths and weaknesses of the mechanism of international trade regulation with the quantitative restrictions application are determined.
