Features of reforming the information and analytical support of the National Police

Abstract
The article deals with consideration of the current state of the information alandanalytical activities of the National Police, advanced national and international experience of the police in this area, and develop proposals on improving the information and analytical support mechanisms of the National Police. The state of implementation of the measures envisaged by the Concept of the priority measures of reforming the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding the application of modern computerized information, telecommunication and other systems in the activities of the National Police and its structural subdivisions, in particular the introduction of a single system of electronic document circulation with modern mechanisms for its protection, unified databases, system planning of the current activity and remote control over the quality of work of individual performers, interactive resources with the possibility of real-time display of committed offenses, localization and positioning of forces and means of law-enforcement bodies, and others. A number of measures have been proposed on the normative and legal support of the activities of the National Police to improve the information and analytical activities of the National Police. The best practices of the Department of Organizational and Analytical Support and Rapid Response of the National Defense Ministry in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast concerning the collection, evaluation, analysis of information on the crime situation in the region, resonant criminal offenses, public security and order violations, other emergency events and responses to them have been analyzed. It is proposed to extend this practice to similar units of the National Police throughout Ukraine. The experience of the information and analytical activity of the police of the EU and the USA has been analyzed and measures have been proposed to improve the mentioned activity in Ukraine
