Feedback Control vs. Integrated Control. A Case Study: Variable Volume Room Experimental Benchmark
Journal Title: Acta Technica Napocensis- Electronica-Telecomunicatii (Electronics and Telecommunications) - Year 2008, Vol 49, Issue 4
Abstract
Systems are in continuous diversification of their application domains and functioning specification requirements. Now, control systems’ development is mainly oriented towards completing of conventional feedback control with new techniques and design means. This work deals with integrated control problems compared to feedback control systems. The purpose is to extract defining characteristics of feedback and integrated control that emphasize the main differences between these two terms and manners to understand the control. Variable volume room experimental benchmark is introduced together by means a functional specification. Some design possibilities are introduced to demonstrate the general discussed aspects based on a real example.

Maximum Power Point Tracking Simulator In Charging Photovoltaic Systems
The task of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is to operate with photovoltaic (PV) modules in a manner that allows them to produce all the power they are capable of. In this paper a system for modeling different MPPT a...
On Replication In Design Of Experiments
Modern electronic technology brings systems of higher complexity leading to the need of new analysis techniques. Using Design of Experiment (DoE) and one of its main principles, i.e. replication, we applied controlled v...
A VLSI Implementation of a New Low Voltage 5th Order Differential Gm-C Bessel Type Low-Pass Filter With Constant-Gm Biasing In CMOS Technology
In this paper a new low voltage 5th order Gm-C Bessel type low-pass filter (LPF) with constant-Gm biasing, designed using CMOS technology, is presented. The differential LPF is composed of two biquad structures and a...
Wave Iterative Process Study Of Double Dipole Scattering
The paper presents an application of the Wave Iterative Process (WIP) in the case of the study of the scattering of an electromagnetic plane wave by a system composed of two arbitrary placed metallic dipoles. The case of...
A VLSI Implementation of a New Low Voltage 4th Order Differential Gm-C Band-Pass Filters For Different Approximation In CMOS Technology
In this paper we present a new low voltage 4th order differential Gm-C band-pass filter (BPF) for different approximations (Butterworth or Chebyshev), which has been designed in CMOS technology. This differential BPF is...
